What happens with time?  Life?  It just seems like yesterday that I was carrying, my youngest daughter from the delivery room, to the nursery at the hospital.  We just celebrated her 21st year in my life, in her families lives, and her friends lives.  But where did all the days go?  And why did they go by so quickly.  I would never admit to her, but this one is so much like her old man.  It is actually a bit scary.  She’s the one that gets her adventure of life from me.  She’s done a lot in her short time.  She began dancing about 11 years ago, then all of a sudden stopped.  When she quit, I missed all her dancing, but most of all, I missed her ballet.  Her grace, it was looking at moving art.  She was a semi track star, a photojournalist, a fashion model and now a hair designer,(she keeps telling me it’s an art, I ani’t got that part down however). She’s tall, like me, and sometimes she thinks like me, which really makes me not want to think.  She is lovely.  I can’t hold my daughter in my arms anymore, or on my lap.  Oh sure I give her hugs and kisses, I even have trades of punches, (she hits hard), and of course she comes up with devilish ways to wake me up when I have crashed in the sofa late at night.  the one thing I can’t convert her to is, what I call U2ism.  She can’t stand the band.  And I have the perfect song that the band wrote for her.   It is called, ‘Original of the Species

   I got to tell you, I have been totally blessed my this one, and the older one also.  I am a blessed man indeed!  Oh yea, by the way, she’s dancing again!!!!
